Interior Design Frequently Asked Questions

How early should I bring in an interior designer?
The earlier, the better. Ideally, we’re involved before construction begins so we can coordinate design details with your builder and avoid costly changes later.

Do you work on renovations or just new builds?
Both. We work on custom home builds, remodels, and whole-home updates, as well as focused transformations like kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.

What if I don’t know my style?
You don’t have to. Helping you discover what feels right is part of our job. We’ll guide you through options and examples until the design feels like a reflection of you.

Do you work with architects?
We do not partner with architects directly, but we collaborate closely with homeowners and builders to ensure the design aligns with the structure and timeline.

Do you take on smaller projects?
Yes, as long as the project is a good fit. We work on full homes and large-scale updates, but also take on focused projects like kitchen and bath redesigns.

Michelle did an excellent job on our home office remodel. We wanted to turn an existing bedroom into a working home office, but needed some help with the layout and design process. We live halfway across the country from her and did all of our correspondence and planning via email and text messages.
